If you were at this end you could not see where you were going and had very little control of the item if it started to slide off the straps or topple to the right or left of the center of gravity. The person at the top of the stairs did carry some of the weight and was able to maintain control of the item so that it would not topple to either side, but the person towards the bottom of the stairs the majority of the weight and the item would fall onto them. Going upstairs it became extremely difficult. This was not a problem on level surfaces, but Thus the majority of the weight would fall on me. I am almost 1 foot shorter than my friend who was using these straps with me.Īlthough we were able to easily lift the items, because of our height differences, the objects kept sliding on the underneath straps towards me. The items we were lifting with these straps were not large but extremely heavy. ![]()
